Eden is an Artist and Humanitarian with a Masters Degree in Art Psychotherapy and Trauma Informed Expressive Arts Therapy.
Art has always been her native language…
Visual arts, painting, photography, sculpture and performance.
Eden has exhibited her visual arts, paintings and fine art photography in New York and London, and she has performed on stage in Los Angeles.
She has been awarded in her theatre career, working on the Lion King as a MakeUp and Wig master and I has been a special effects MakeUp, Hair and Wig designer to productions on screen for TV and movies.
Over the last two decades she has been committed to international humanitarian work. She has worked internationally with a great diversity of people; child genocide survivors in Rwanda, homeless women on Skid Row, Los Angeles, children whose behaviour challenges, and Men in a secure forensic mental health facility outside London.
In 2008 Eden founded a specialist sign language school for Deaf or Disabled orphaned children in eastern Uganda. “I have found that through the Arts healing can happen”. - Eden O. Shoro
